About the Owner

Jacquelyn has proudly served her country for 21 years, 15 of which have been in Navy Special Operations as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician, directly attached to Navy SEAL Teams deploying to various global theaters. Starting her naval career as a Cryptologic Technician Interpreter (Chinese Linguist), Jacquelyn’s critical skills were responsible for the translation, interpretation, analysis and reporting of highly technical information of strategic and tactical importance to naval fleet commanders and national intelligence agencies. After serving 6 years as a linguist and inspired to use her strengths and challenge herself, she screened for the EOD community, and ultimately placed herself on a very short list of women to successfully complete the program. Never satisfied for settling, she pushed her limits even further and was selected to operate and deploy with Special Mission Units, where she broke glass ceiling by becoming the first female Operations Leader for Sensitive Activities, directing and managing multiple diverse 20-person teams overseas, charged with executing national-level priorities in countering strategic adversaries. Jacquelyn finished out a venerable 21-year career, earning titles such as executive coach and mentor, and working as a Women in Special Operations Forces instructor (WISOF, a pioneering role), assigned to the Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) schoolhouse in Coronado, CA. Her direct influence provided the Naval Special Warfare enterprise clear guidelines in support of cultivating an environment of diversity and inclusion for all. Jacquelyn’s life has been about following her passions, in particular, obtaining fitness through adventure and sport, and her love for the outdoors. She loves playing in the ocean, is an avid surfer and kiteboarder, and enjoys spreading her positive energy to all around her.
